Corrections, Concerns and Complaints

Safeguarding, welfare and urgent risk

This page is for general concerns, factual corrections, update requests and complaints relating to Dance Sport Trust material or activity.

It is not an emergency, crisis or safeguarding reporting route.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, please call 999.

If your concern involves a child or young person who may be at risk, please contact the police, local authority children’s social care, the NSPCC Helpline on 0808 800 5000, or another appropriate safeguarding route.

Dance Sport Trust may signpost to relevant support routes, but we do not investigate safeguarding allegations or provide crisis, counselling, legal or emergency support.

Dance Sport Trust welcomes factual corrections, update requests and concerns about material published on this website.

Different types of concern may need to be handled in different ways. To help us respond appropriately, please use the most relevant route below.

Factual corrections

For errors, updates or information that may now be outdated.

Concerns about DST content

For concerns about tone, fairness, source use, wording or presentation.

Complaints about DST conduct

For concerns about DST event handling, communication, donations, contributor arrangements or administrative conduct.

Safeguarding, welfare or urgent risk concerns

Safeguarding, welfare or urgent risk concerns should not be submitted through this general concerns route. Please use an appropriate emergency, statutory, professional or specialist support route instead.

Third-party disputes

DST does not investigate disputes between third parties, but may signpost to relevant organisations, policies or public information where appropriate.

Where a concern relates to safeguarding, welfare or immediate risk, it should not be submitted as a general correction, content concern or conduct complaint. Please contact the appropriate emergency service, statutory service, professional body, organisational safeguarding lead, or specialist support service.

DST will aim to acknowledge concerns and corrections in a reasonable timeframe. Where a correction is accepted, we may update the relevant page, add clarification, amend wording, or record that information has changed.

Raising a concern does not guarantee that DST will change or remove content, but all concerns will be considered carefully and in good faith.
