Emergency & Urgent Mental Health Support

United Kingdom & Republic of Ireland​​

 

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, please call 999 (UK & Ireland).
In Ireland, you can also call 112.

 

If you can, go straight to your nearest emergency department.
If you cannot do this alone, ask someone to help you.
If you need urgent mental health support but your life is not at risk.

 

In the United Kingdom

 

Call NHS 111 for 24-hour mental health help (England & Wales)
Speak to your GP for an emergency appointment.
Visit an urgent treatment centre if you are unsure where to turn.

 

In the Republic of Ireland

 

Contact the HSE Mental Health Services for urgent guidance.
Call your GP or local out-of-hours medical service.
Attend an emergency department if you feel unable to stay safe.
